Family Reunion Advice
Have an interview with your elderly relatives, as you never know if they will give pleasure to all the relatives with their presence at the next reunion.

Make a slide show of photos (especially old pictures).

A good idea is to have a Guest Book to write special messages and update addresses.

Hand Certificates to the oldest, youngest, who traveled the most distance, who has the most children, who baked the best chicken, who has attended the most reunions, who has the most grandchildren, AND The Genealogy Award (to that family researcher in the bunch).

Organize games for the small kids.

Arrange a contest on best Family T-Shirts Made Up.

Held a Family Talent Show or Family Skits.

Another great idea is sing contest. Make some music sheets to hand out with words.

Group Pictures should be taken in the middle of reunion instead of the beginning (not everyone may have arrived) and the end (some had to leave early).

To show any hobby or crafts families may have done throughout the year, have tables set up.

Make a special Memorial to those family members who have passed away since previous reunion.

Set up a family webpage or start a family newsletter.
